MARY CURRY It is with great sorrow to bring to you the passing of Mary Curry (Granny). Mary slipped away April 21, 2002, to join her beloved husband Norm. She leaves behind her son Neal; her daughters, Nancy and Judy; daughter-in-law Teresa; son-in-law Bob; grandchildren, Laurie, Mark, Lisa, Leslie, Dan, Chris, Tim and Matt; and great-grandchildren, Brett and Jada; and many more friends and family. Granny was a snowbird and traveled to Florida during the winter months and lived in Golden Lake during the summer. Granny enjoyed planting flowers in her garden and watching her six-foot sunflowers that she grew from a seed, grow. Everyday she walked from her cottage to the end of her lane to retrieve her newspaper to get her daily fix of crossword puzzles. There are many wonderful things about Granny that will be remembered, but two in particular are how everything in life to Granny was beautiful and how she signed every card, letter, present by saying, "Love Ya." We we all miss you Granny, Love Ya. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB, R2L 1X3.
