MARGARET RYZ (nee DEWEY) Margaret Louise Ryz passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at 7:35 p.m. at Concordia Place. She was predeceased by her husband Peter Ryz; her mother Margaret; father George; and brother Henry Dewey. She is survived by her brother Jim Dewey; nieces, Laura McMillan, Beverly McColin Moore; nephews, Cameron, Gerald and Martin Dewey, William Krauss; brother-in-law Harry Krauss; sister-in-law Emily Krauss; and eight great nieces and nephews. Margaret had good friends and neighbours in the absence of her family that were often times her rock. She was born in July of 1913 and always remained in Winnipeg. She possessed many talents. She was quiet, bright and most of all she was a charitable soul. She enjoyed watching her neighbours children and then their children grow as she didnt have any of her own, and she had a special place in her heart for them. Though shes gone to the Lord, shell always remain in the hearts and memories of those who knew and loved her. Vaya Con Dios Margaret. Well always hold you close. A special thank you to all the staff at Concordia Place for their kind and compassionate care of Margaret. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 29 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
