IRMGARD "IRMA" NEVILLE (nee PRESSER) (DJEKIC) 1945 - 2002 It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of Irma on April 25, 2002. With her family at her side, Irma has begun her journey toward everlasting peace. Cherished daughter of Alma and Ivan (John) Belousow. Loving mother of Jim (Kirsten), Jon (Linda), Sonja, Tanja (Tony), Jana (Dean) and Mihaela. Beloved sister of Linda and Ingrid (Lindsay) and caring aunt to Tegan (Chris) and Ashleigh. Devoted grandmother of Daniel, Anthony, Mercedes, Breanna, Carter, McKenna and Kara. Irma was predeceased by granddaughter Keisha, nephew Matthew and brother-in-law Scott. Irma also leaves to mourn many friends too numerous to mention. Irma was an amazing chef with a vibrant personality. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, dancing and talking for hours. Irma loved life and lived it to the fullest. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. We LOVE you. The family would like to thank the staff at Health Sciences Centre, 4D - especially Kim, Erin, Donna, Chris and Mary - for their care and comfort. We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to pallbearers: Lindsay Bennett, Dean Kupresak, Tony Stadler, Bill Prince, Terry Lamoureux, Dana Shelba and grandsons, Daniel and Anthony. Viewing will be held between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 29 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Gimli Cemetery with lunch to follow at Gimli Recreation Centre. Miss Me But Let Me Go When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room. Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not for too long And not with your head bowed low, Remember the love we once shared Miss me but let me go. For this is a journey we all must take, And each must go alone, Its all part of the masters plan A step on the road to home. So when you are lonely and sick at heart Go to the friends we know, And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds, Miss Me - But Let Me Go. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gilbarts Funeral Home, Selkirk.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • She was my grandma and I loved and still do love her very much. I was maybe 4, 5, or 6 years old at the time she died. I really never knew her well. I wanted to get to know her more than what I already know about her. But if she was still here I would but she's not. And I really don't know what to do. But may she rest in peace. You'll always be in my heart grandma no matter what. I hope she found cousin Matthew up in heaven. The end. - Posted by: Breanna Djekic (Grandma) on: Jan 22, 2014
