WILLIAM JACK "BILL" HALPARIN October 1, 1911 - April 26, 2002 Bill passed away suddenly on Friday, April 26, 2002 at the Grace Hospital with his family at his side. He is survived by his loving wife Florence; his sons, Lawrence and Elliot and their wives Barbara and Nancy; grandchildren, Jessica, Judy, Kamiel, Chloe and Max; his sister Lillian Mostow. Bill was predeceased by his brothers, Archie and Norman and sister Freda Fox. He was born and educated in Winnipeg and graduated from Engineering in 1932 from University of Manitoba. He will be remembered for his sharp wit, sense of humour and intellectual curiosity. Funeral was held on Sunday, April 28 at the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue with interment at the Shaarey Zedek Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba or Jewish National Fund or a charity of your choice.
