PETER KOCHAN May 11, 1905 - April 20, 2002 Peter died peacefully at St. Josephs Residence, with his family at his side. He was born in the Western Ukraine, and came to Canada in 1923 where he married Julia Karakochook in 1928. He worked at first with CP Railway, and then as a milk salesman for 40 years until his retirement. After retiring, he belonged to many senior and community organizations which kept him busy and healthy for many years. He also enjoyed his garden, especially his tomatoes, which were his pride and joy. Peter was predeceased by his wife Julia in 1994; parents, and two brothers in the Ukraine. He leaves to mourn his son Walter (Janet) daughter Patricia Zabolotny (Richard) six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Peter dearly cared for all his family for whom he held great pride. At his request, a private family service has taken place. Thank you to Dr. Babick and all the staff at St. Josephs Residence for all their love and care.
