OLGA BUECHLER (nee METNER) Peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2002, at the East View Lodge in Neepawa, MB, Olga Buechler, aged 90 years of Moosehorn, MB. Olga was born on July 13, 1911, and was raised near Moosehorn. She married Ernie Buechler on October 16, 1938. Together they farmed for many years, finally retiring in Moosehorn. Olga enjoyed knitting and crocheting, playing a game of cards with the Tobers, and she loved her garden. Olga is survived by her son Butch (Terry) of Airdrie, AB, son Don (Cecile) of Calgary, AB; granddaughter Shannon (Marcel) great-grandchildren, Callum and Cullen; sister Clara (Albert) Grahn; brothers, Edward Newman and Bill (Erma) Newman; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ernie on November 9, 1990; brothers, Rudolph, Karl, Reinhold, Herb and Albert; two sisters, Redena and Emma. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Moosehorn, MB, with Rev. Donna J. Smalley officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church, with interment to follow at the Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Moosehorn, MB. Special thanks to the staff at the East View Lodge in Neepawa, MB, for the wonderful care they gave to our Mom over the years.
