JACK FISHER Finally at peace on April 29, 2002, Jack Baker Croyden Fisher slipped away into Gods care at Deer Lodge Centre. Missing him more than ever is his only daughter Susan (Terry) Doerksen; and three grandchildren he cherished so much, Jess, Travis and Dylan. As well as three special friends, Helen Leggo, Barb Steeds and Brian Laxdal. Jack was born on December 28, 1921 in Keewatin, ON. He served in the Second World War and while stationed in England met and married Irene. They moved to Winnipeg and Jack began working at Eatons. He worked there for 32 years until his retirement in 1983. He treasured the many relationships he developed. Jack and Irene had celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary together and enjoyed many years of retirement, until Irenes sudden passing on July 29, 1994. Jack then devoted his time to his family and close friends. In November of 2001, Jacks dream of going to Deer Lodge Nursing Centre was answered. A memorial service will be held at St. Pauls Anglican Church, 830 North Dr., on Saturday, May 4 at 3:00 p.m. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Tower 5 at Deer Lodge Centre for their care and understanding. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations can be made to St. Pauls Anglican Church. GREEN ACRES FUNERAL HOME 222-3241
