Arni and Olive farmed in the 1-6 area until 1960 and then moved to Morden where he retired in 1976 from the Morden Research Station. Retirement years were spent in Morden. Arni gained the respect he had in the community not by receiving from others, this respect was his reward for what he had given to others all of his life. He had a knack for adding a little something to the life of everyone he met. Funeral service will be held Sunday, May 5, 2:30 p.m. at St. Pauls United Church, Morden, Jeri Bjornson officiating. Interment will follow at the 1-6 Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the 1-6 Community Hall or to the Legion House Walkway Fund, C/O the Town of Morden.
