MORRIS MUTTNER 1923 - 2002 It is with great sadness our family announces the death of our beloved husband, father and grandfather. Morris Muttner passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Centre on April 24, 2002. He was predeceased by his sister Sadie and brother Izzy. Morris will always be remembered with great love and affection by his wi fe Betty, daughters and sons-in-law Sharna Berman (Ivor) and Carol Braha (Gino), grandchildrenRandi and Jeffrey Berman and Lori, Robyn and Andrea Braha. He will also be missed by his brother, Jack and sisters-in-law Tykie Muttner and Jean Muttner, and his nephews, nieces and their families. Born in Estevan, SK, Morris moved to Winnipeg in 1942. Morris worked at, and then owned, Doner Paint and Hardware for over 50 years. His clients respected his business integrity, knowledge of his trade, and personal service. He strove to provide a good life for his family and taught us all the value of hard work and diligence in undertaking lifes projects. Morris was a quiet man who was filled with love, kindness, courage, devotion, and charm. In retirement, he loved the simple things in life. Family, gardening, and volunteering became his passions. Our family extends sincere thanks to all of Morris caregivers. Dr. Sheldon Koven, nurse Sharon Lebine, nurse Lori Howell, homecare coodinator Sandy Slonosky, homecare staff Joe Rarama and Susan DeCastro. A special thanks to the staff of 3E at Riverview Health Centre. Funeral services were held at Bnay Abraham Synagogue with interment at Rosh Pina Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers was Jack Muttner. Pallbearers were Gino Braha, Ivor Berman, Jeffrey Berman, Sheldon Muttner, Sam Muttner and Jerry Goldberg. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so could make a contribution to CancerCare Manitoba or to the charity of their choice. Dad, you will be in our hearts forever.
