KENNETH EDWIN ELLIOT It is with great sadness the family of Kenneth Elliot announce his passing on Sunday, May 5, 2002 at the Glenboro Health Centre. A devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Ken was born Friday, April 13, 1913 in Morris, MB to John and Roetta Elliot. They farmed in the Silver Plains area. On May 3, 1935 he married Elizabeth (Betty) Curtis of Winnipeg. Ken and Betty lived on the farm for a short period. He started his Pool Elevator career by being the assistant to Jack Agar in Silver Plains. Six years later, he was made agent in Brunkild where they moved. He was later transferred to Beresford, Cypress River and Cartwright where he retired in April 1978 after 41 years of service. Ken and Betty moved back to make their home in Cypress River, purchasing the "Old Pool House". Ken renovated the home with great pride in his workmanship. He loved his garden and flowers and seemed to produce enough for an army! Ken received his 05-10-2002
