EMILY GRAY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Emily Gray. Emily died on Saturday, May 4, 2002 at Beacon Hill Lodge. She was predeceased by her husband Clifford Gray. Emily will be remembered by her daughters, Gail Selby and Valerie Gray; her granddaughters, Kim Turcotte, Shawn Selby and Erin Selby; and her great-grandchildren Sara, Arianne, Sebastien, Alexandre, Hayden, Avery and Bronwyn. Emily was a born in England in 1912. She came to Canada as a young girl and made Winnipeg her lifelong home. Emily and Clifford owned and operated several hair salons in the city. After retiring, Emily, not known for sitting still, went to work for Eatons Candy Department which made her very popular amongst her grandchildren. Emily loved hard work and as anyone knows who tried to keep up, she moved at the speed of sound. But most of all Emily loved and was devoted to her daughters. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services to be held Thursday, May 9 at 11:00 a.m., at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
