Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHUGHINA (INA) GIBBONS 1905 - 2002 The family of Ina Gibbons sadly announces the peaceful passing of their beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister on Saturday, May 18, 2002 with her daughter Gail and granddaughter Shelley at her side. Ina was predeceased by her husband, Myron; sister Phyllis; brother, Jack; and son-in-law, Hamish. She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory her daughter Gail; granddaughter, Shelley (Jim) and their sons, Ryan and Scott; grandson Bruce (Darlene) and their sons, Owen, Evan and Austen; devoted sister Joy (Mert) nephew Mark (Dianne) and their children, Kurtis, Kristopher and Kathryn; as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends. Ina was born in Forget, SK, living most of her life in Winnipeg primarily in Charleswood. Her later years were at Westhaven and lastly in Tuxedo Villa. She will be remembered as a kind and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Those who knew and loved her will miss her. The family wishes to thank all our friends and Tuxedo Villa for their support, kindness and understanding. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice. Mom and Grandma, Words cannot express how much we love you and how greatly you will be missed. You will always be the wind beneath our wings. We love you dearly. A mother holds her childs hand for a short while, her heart forever. Rest in peace Mom. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 22 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
