WING HEUNG CHOI 1937 - 2002 He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Tam Tim (Lisa) of 40 years; his two sons, Casey and Kin and wife Marlene and daughter Lori; two grandchildren, Emmett and Wilson. Born in Toishan, Kwang Tung, China, Wing immigrated to Winnipeg in 1973 and lived in Chinatown, Transcona and finally in East Kildonan. He successfully started and operated a Chinese restaurant in East Kildonan "Wings Restaurant" for over 13 years, previously in the Sherbrook Inn for 1 year. He was a devoted man to his family and work. His greatest joy in life was the time that he spent with his grandchildren and gardening. He was well-known and respected by his peers particularly in the Chinese Community. The family wishes to thank all those who demonstrated support during this difficult time. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway.
