ABRAM (ABE) JACOB THIESEN Abe Thiesen, aged 81 years of Altona, MB, passed away May 27, 2002 at the Boundary Trails Hospital. Abe will be lovingly remembered by his wife Tina; daughters, Marlene Braun, Brenda Thiesen, Gloria (Ralph) Bradley; sons, Howard (Maria) Thiesen, Randal Thiesen, Clifford Thiesen, Bradley Thiesen; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Ken Thiesen in 1967. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 30 at 2:00 p.m. from the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church in Altona, with interment to follow in the Altona Cemetery. Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home, Altona, Wednesday, May 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and at the church prior to the service. In memory of Abe Thiesen, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, ON109 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9, or to M.C.C. available at the church.
