ANNA KRAWCZUK (nee SOKOLOWSKI) Suddenly on June 30, 2002 at Health Sciences Centre, Anna aged 69 years, beloved wife of Grzegorz Krawczuk. Anna was born in Chlopiatyn (povit Sokal), Western Ukraine on February 23, 1933. Anna and her parents were involuntarily relocated to northern Poland in 1947, where they spent most of their adult lives. Together with her husband Grzegorz and son Miroslaw, Anna immigrated to Canada on March 9, 1984 to join their daughter Halyna. Despite many adversities and challenges facing her, Anna found the strength th dedicate her life to her children and grandchildren. Left to mourn her passing are her husband of 46 years Grzegorz, daughter Halyna Suchy (Jerry), son Miroslaw Krawczuk (Tamara) grandchildren, Orest, Romana and Adrianna, sister Emilia Foga (Teodor) brother Andrzej Sokolowski (Jadwiga), sister-in-law Barbara Sokolowski; nieces and nephews, Myrosia, Irka, Ola, Ania, Wlodek and Jarek, many relatives in Ukraine, Poland and Germany. She was predeceased by her two infant children, Irena and Roman; her parents, Maria and Ivan, and brother Teodor. Panachyda will be sung at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 5 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 6 at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral, 115 McGregor St., with Rev. M. Kouts officiating. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. VICHNAYA PAMYAT KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
