WILLIAM HENRY TAYLOR William (Bill) Taylor, beloved husband of Sandra, passed away on July 12, 2002, at the Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg, surrounded by the love of his family. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sandra; his children, son Grant; daughters, Deborah and Rita (Allan) grandchildren, Tanya, Crystal, Candice, Derek, Reid and Shayla; step-daughter Angela and her children, Michael and Breanne; his mother Dorothy; sister Gail (Victor Witroway) brother Ron (Judy) brother-in-law Earl Olsen; his childrens mother, Joyce; as well as many nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his father, William David and a sister, Beth Olsen. Bill was born on June 10, 1941, in Winnipeg and lived his entire life in the north end of the city. After high school he worked for several years at Rogers Fruit as a truck driver. He went from there to Reimer Express driving semi both long haul and city. Bill truly loved driving and won several honours for his skill competing in both local and national truck rodeos. Unfortunately, he had to give up his beloved work in 1984 due to injury. Since that time he has worked as a receiver for Medis (McKesson). He was also an avid sports buff and spent many happy hours watching his favourite "game" or bowling with one of the several leagues he belonged to over the years. Bill was a quiet, gentle man who will be greatly missed by many friends and co-workers. Viewing will take place at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 17 at 3:00 p.m. with interment to follow.
