MARIAN ORNAR Marian Ornar, 87, of San Jacinto, CA, died June 14, 2002, at Ramona Manor in Hemet, CA. Born in Winnipeg, Canada, she is survived by sisters, Olga Kormilo and Nadia Okrusko and numerous nieces and nephews in Canada. In her youth she was a member of St. Mary the Protectress Cathedral, where her father Stefan Basisty was one of the original founders. In 1942 Marian and her husband Michael Ornar moved to California. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Bank of America for 22 years. She was predeceased by her husband Michael. For the last eight years Marian had lived in San Jacinto. She is survived by sisters, Olga Kormilo and Nadia Okrusko; her companion Leonard Easter; stepdaughter Mary and her husband Don Keltner. Funeral service was held at McWane Family Funeral Home in Hemet. Graveside services and interment at Rose Hills Memorial Park, June 19, Whittier, CA.
