RUTH ISABELLA SPEARS Peacefully on August 7, 2002, Ruth Spears, aged 89 years, passed away at the Victoria General Hospital. Ruth was born on August 25, 1912, in Moosejaw, SK. She began her working career with the Royal Bank, and ended her career with Firestone. She volunteered her time at the Manitoba Deaf Centre for 15 years until her poor health prevented her from doing so. She was a very kind, gentle woman who loved people dearly, and was always willing lend a helping hand. She was predeceased by her husband William Gordon Spears. She is survived by her niece Carol Robinson of Busby, AB; with many other great-nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Ruths cremated remains will be interred at Mountainview Cemetery, Thunder Bay, ON, beside her husband Gordon.
