HARRIET PARKER 1902 - 2002 Peacefully at Meadowood Manor, our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed after 100 years of life on August 18, 2002. Born in Kirkcaldy, Scotland in 1902, Harriet Methven came to Canada in 1924 and settled in Winnipeg. There she married the love of her life, Cecil Parker in 1925 and had one daughter, Christina (Bettinson). Nan, as she was affectionately known by her family, had two granddaughters, Janet Blanchard and Donna Bettinson; and two great-grandchildren, Adam and Danielle Blanchard. Harriet is predeceased by her loving husband Cecil, and her beloved son-in-law Gerry Bettinson. Nan - you are in our hearts forever. The bagpipes will always remind us of you. Many thanks to the staff at Meadowood Manor for all their care to Nan over the years. As she requested, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
