MYRTLE E. MacIVER (nee HICKS) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Myrtle on Friday, September 6, 2002. Remaining to cherish Myrtles memory are her daughter Marilyn Martin (Bob) of Owen Sound, ON, and their children Sandra, Cheryl and Carolyn and son Ray Hicks (Gaye) and their children, Matthew, Nathan and Shane. "Nana" will also be sadly missed by great-grandchildren, Jordan, Sam and Caylie. Myrtle was predeceased by her first husband Gordon W. Hicks in 1980 and second husband Allister (Mac) MacIver in 2000. A special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit of Grace Hospital for their kindness and compassion - especially to Donna and Cindy. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 11 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in Myrtles memory to a charity of ones choice.
