MALANIA (MOLLY) FEDORONCHUK (nee WELECHENKO) Molly passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 8, 2003 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by her husband Tony in 1978 and her parents and sisters in the Ukraine. Left to celebrate her life and lovingly remember her are children, Annie Knobe, Walter and wife Pearl, Bill Fedorn and wife Sylvia; grandchildren, Terry and Glenn Sparling, Lesley and John Truss, Lynn Hordy and friend Michael, Michele and Gene Nault; great-grandchildren, Evan and Bailey Truss, Jordan Earl, Stephen and Jennifer Sparling. Molly immigrated to Canada at the tender age of 17, leaving her parents and sisters behind in the Ukraine. Shortly thereafter, she married Tony and they had three children and celebrated 53 years together. Molly had many passions in life. She loved cooking Sunday dinners for family, singing her favourite Ukrainian songs, playing bingo, enjoying her pets, gardening, summer visits to Watrous, SK, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mollys family wishes to express heartfelt appreciation to all the staff at Holy Family Nursing Home (St. Johns Ward) for their loving care during the last 10 years. Your support and love were especially helpful during Mollys last few days. Funeral service to be held on Monday, January 13 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery.
