LENA PRODANIUK On March 31, 2003 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Lena Prodaniuk, beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother passed away at the age of 98 years. She is survived by her five daughters: Marjorie Tycoles (John) of Ottawa, ON, Olga Cymbalisty of Canora, SK, Ester Deighton (Ken) of Kelowna, BC, Elizabeth Paluck (Joseph) of Winnipeg, MB and Georgina McMillan of Winnipeg, MB; one son, Carl (Pat) Prodaniuk of Anola, MB; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters, Dora and Mary along with other relatives and friends. Lena was predeceased by her husband Walter; brother Emil; sisters, Clara, Josephine, Caroline and half-sister Annie. The family would like to thank Holy Family Nursing Home staff for taking such wonderful care of Lena for the five and one half years in which she resided there. Thanks also to the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Don McIntyre officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Lenas memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
