FRANK GANDY Frank Gandy passed away peacefully at home in his 87th year. He is survived by his wife Marion; his son Ian. Frank resided in St. James his whole life. Frank will be missed by his sister-in-law Pat; his brother-in-law Doug; also many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Clara and Richard, also his brother Harold. Frank was a very kind, thoughtful and gentle man. Frank worked for many years at The Bay. He was also a part owner at Sparling Sales until he retired. Frank came out of retirement to be General Manager at A.R.C. Industries until 1980. Frank served on The Board of Directors at Versatech Industries Inc. for many years. Frank was also a strong supporter of Winnserv. Inc. He volunteered many hours in support of this organization. He gave many years of commitment and service to people with mental disabilities. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Friday, May 16, at 11:00 a.m. in the St. James Anglican Church, 195 Collegiate St. In lieu of flowers, donations in Franks memory may be made to Versatech Charitable Foundation Inc., 436 William Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 0J4 or Winnserv.
