Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARTHUR ABRAM ISAAK Arthur Abram Isaak passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, June 22, 2003. He is survived by his wife Sonja, the love of his life; his daughters Elizabeth Isaak, Cindy (Yardley) Ploegman, Barbara (Paul) Galessiere; his grandchildren Aleah Marie and Daniel Arthur Galessiere; his brother Victor Isaak of Kelowna, BC; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Art was a Director at three different health care facilities over many years. His exemplary administrative skills made him a popular "boss". He often talked of being blessed by the kindness of his staff. During his lifetime he served in childrens ministry, the Alpha program and as a church deacon. His favourite pastime was spending time at the cottage with his family. He especially loved his sons-in-law Paul and Yardley. Art was not a man of many words but what he did say had a lasting impact and people will remember his sense of humour. He will be greatly missed by his wife, children and grandchildren Aleah and Daniel. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 26, 2003 at the Winnipeg Evangelical Free Church, 500 Lagimodiere Blvd., (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) with Pastor Rob Dyer officiating. A gathering of his family and friends will follow at the Glen Lawn Reception Centre. Interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express thank you to Drs. Norman and Schroeder of the Health Sciences Centre Oncology Department as well as Kathlene Regehr for their attentiveness. Thank you also to Mary Lou Sellen. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Arthur to the Oakbank Christian Church, Oakbank, Manitoba, R0A 0C0.
