Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBILLY (BILL) RICHARD SCHMITT It is with deep regret that we announce the death of our son Billy (Bill) Richard Schmitt, on Monday, June 23, 2003. He passed away suddenly and peacefully at the age of 29 years. He is survived by his mother Susan Schmitt and stepfather Keith Deschenes; sister Teresa Black, all of Winnipeg; father Frank Schmitt, sister Kelsey and brother Brydon, all of Saskatoon; his beloved grandmother Teresa Kardynal; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Sadly, Bill has left behind a large and loving family and many friends. All will miss him dearly. Bill found fulfillment in fishing, football and music. For those who wish, viewing will be held one hour prior to Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 2 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul The Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Avenue, with Rev. Msgr. Ward Jamieson presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bills memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, 432 Ellice Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3B 1Y4.
