CATHERINE GOTTFRIED Catherine lived - in her words - "a long and good life", both in Winnipeg for many years and later in Arnes, MB. Widowed twice (Andrew Bebee and Michael Gottfried), she had many interests, loved the creatures of the world and had a sharp intelligence. Despite her illness she lived every moment as well as she could and, to her familys gratitude, remained clear minded and fiesty until the end. She will be remembered with much love by her family - son Noel, "daughter" Karen and their children Devin and Julia; "daughter" Muriel and grandson Damon in BC; sister Thelma and brother-in-law Phil in BC; Michaels family - Doug and Geri; Arlene and Peter; Sandra and Brian; Valerie; Scott and Gisele; and grandchildren Shawn and Dana, Trevor and Tyler, Lisa, Alex and Joshua. At her request, she has been cremated and there will be no service. Wherever you are at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, June 28, we ask you to raise a glass to her life and memory.
