MARY ELIZABETH MABEL CHORLEY (FENN) February 9, 1907 - July 22, 2003 Peacefully at 96 years, Mother was taken from us to enter into Gods care and place of eternal rest, peace and happiness. Mary was predeceased by her husband Stan; brothers, Alf and Archie; and sister Edith. Survived by sisters, Muriel, Grace and Irene. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Elliott (Lynda) of Killarney, MB, Evelyn of Winnipeg, MB, Bob (Tina) of Sechelt, BC, Betty (Dick) of Salinas, CA, Alan (Marlene) of St. Adolphe, MB; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Mary was born in Teulon, MB then later married Stan and resided at 388 Oak St. Marys passion was her Grand Marais cottage where she loved to garden, bake for her children and enjoy an evening scrabble game. She spent many years working at Laura Secord Chocolates and then onto volunteering at the Red Cross and Church group activities St. Mary Magdalenes. Mary truly enjoyed family gatherings and countless trips to the west coast including California. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Vista Park where she lived for the past seven years. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 29 at 10:30 a.m. at Garry Memorial Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., with Rev. Bob Webster officiating.
