GEORGE C. FELTHAM Suddenly, on July 29, 2003, George passed away at the age of 63. He is survived by his wife Thelma; daughter Tracy (Chris) Lee and their children, Alex and Veronica; son Trevor (Allison) Feltham and their children, Mitchell and Robyn; stepson Blair (Cindy) McEvoy and their children, Rylea and Parker; stepdaughter Shelley (Pat) Corbett and their children, Matthew and Scott; mother Dorcas; brothers, Gord (Sharron), Richard (Anne), and David (Glenda) and sisters, Jean (Jan) Olson, Mable (Ken) Spencer, and Shirley (Marion) Gammill. George was predeceased by his father Alec and his first wife Victory. One of the biggest joys in Georges life was his grandchildren. He joined the Canadian Armed Forces after graduation from high school and remained with them until his retirement in 1993. George was a very active member of the Masonic Order. He joined Dominion Lodge #848 while serving in the military in Germany. He was later affiliated with Starbuck Lodge #160 and served as District Deputy Grand Master for the Eighth Masonic District in 1997. He is a Past Thrice Illustrious Master of Cyrus Council #2 Royal and Select Masters Cryptic Rite. He was a member of the Grand Lodge General Purposes Committee and served on the Committee of Benevolence. He was a member of Red River Valley Chapter Royal Arch Masons. At the time of his passing, he held the office of Grand First Principal for the Grand Chapter Royal Arch Masons of Manitoba. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 5 at 11:00 a.m. at the Charleswood United Church, 4820 Roblin Blvd. Masonic service to follow. Reception will follow at Chapel Lawn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
