Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARBARA LYNNE PALLEVA (nee WOOD) On Sunday, August 3, 2003 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Barbara Palleva passed away at the age of 61 years. Barb is survived by her husband of 37 years Dario; daughter Lisa (Maurice Tallaire) son Anthony; grandchildren, Taylor and Zachary Tallaire; twin sister Beverley Mitchler; father Vern Wood; sister-in-law Bruna (Fred Papetti) brother-in-law Gianni Carlo; cousins, Elsie (Ron Brow), Merle Keck (Bud), Joan (Mel Sipley) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Barb was predeceased by her mother Elizabeth Wood, and brother-in-law Harold Mitchler. Barb enjoyed gardening, crafts, sitting on her deck in the evenings with her neighbours and going racing with Dario in Gimli with the Winnipeg Sports Car Club. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with Taylor and Zachary, who were the "apples of her eye". They will miss her very much. According to Barbs wishes, there will be no service and cremation has taken place. Barb - we love you very much and will miss you. Your memory will be cherished in our hearts forever. My first recollection was at her place, before the kids were born. Big bright smile, gorgeous hair. The smell of clean pressed clothes. Auntie Barb was ironing.
