ROSE KRAMPETZ (nee SCHOEN) Rose, who was born at home in the municipality of Hanover, MB, on May 28, 1915 to Anna and Anton Schoen, passed away peacefully at Concordia Place on Thursday, August 14, 2003 with her family by her side. Mom was predeceased by Art, her loving husband of 43 years of marriage, in 1977. Together they raised their children in Winnipeg, Old Pinawa and Seven Sisters. She leaves to mourn her four daughters, Irene Enns, Abbottsford, BC, Marlene Merke, Kelowna, BC, Sandra Nakka (Norm) and Judy Andersen (Paul), both of McMunn, MB; her three sons, Ron, Don (Jean) both of Winnipeg and Doug (Lynda), Pinawa, MB; her 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Rose is also survived by her sisters, Annie, Mary, Louise and brother Frank. Mom was predeceased by sisters, Magdalena, Agnes and Matt, brothers, Tony, Joe and John; son-in-law Herb Enns, and infant great-grandson Ethan Nakka. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her main focus in life. She always took time to listen with genuine interest to hear what they all were doing. Throughout all her years, Mom had this wonderful ability to recall and share with great accuracy the details of each family members life. In earlier years she was an ardent bowler and curler, but later her passion was Bingo. She loved watching all types of sports such as curling, bowling, football, tennis and golf. A celebration of Roses life will be held on Monday, August 18 at 11:00 a.m. in the Assiniboia Christian Centre, 3390 Portage Ave. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave., Winnipeg. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Our family would like to express our deep appreciation to the nurses and caregivers on the 3rd floor at Concordia Place for the wonderful care given to our mother during the three years she was in residence there. For those who wish, donations may be made in Roses memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or Parkinson Foundation. WOJCIKS ALL BELIEFS & FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATION 897 - 4665
