ROBERT B. REMPLE March 11, 1955 - August 17, 2003 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Robert (Boob) Remple, at the Seven Oaks Hospital Emergency Unit on August 17, 2003. Boob was survived by his loving wife and best friend of 14 and one half years Teresa; our Russian Blue cat Whiskey Elliott, who he would refer to as (Big Shot Boy) brother Tommy (Elinor) nephews, Darren and Kurt (Kristina) mother-in-law Anne Anderson; sister-in-law Carolyn Anderson; also aunts, uncles and cousins in Winnipeg and Vancouver, BC. Also many friends and co-workers, including our good friend Dave Mazur of Las Vegas, Nevada who was our best man at our wedding. Boob was predeceased by his father Tony in 1991; father-in-law Bill (Willy) in 1991, and mother Rita in 2002. After graduating from Tec Voc, he tried a variety of jobs before settling on a job with CP Rail. Finally, after 28 and one half years he decided that this could become a full-time career! He enjoyed family time at the cabin at Grand Beach together with trips to Grand Forks and Las Vegas. He was a very big hearted and kind person, always telling jokes and teasing people to make them laugh and be happy. He was a very loyal and loving husband and friend, very protective of his wife and family. We would like to thank all close friends and co-workers for their kindness and compassion during this difficult time. Also thanks to the paramedics, staff and chaplain at the Seven Oaks Hospital Emergency Unit who worked so hard to prepare Boob for his next journey. Funeral service will be on Friday, August 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roberts memory to the Humane Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. You will remain within my heart forever Until we meet again.
