ALLISON KIYOKO ROBSON (nee EDGAR) November 28, 1966 - August 21, 2003 On August 21, 2003, Allison died in Winnipeg at St. Boniface Hospital after a valiant two year struggle with breast cancer. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband Paul; precious daughters, Shannon and Devyn; father Bob Edgar (Doreen) mother Setsuko Edgar; grandmother Frances Edgar; sisters, Paula (James) and Robynne (Mark) mother and father-in-law, Elsie and Bob Robson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Grant (Joyce), Graham (Susan) and Jan (Ray). A tiny nephew (Jakob) and nieces, Hilary, Paige and Noa will miss the chance to get to know Auntie better. Allisons health deteriorated during a much-anticipated visit to her family in Vancouver. Thankfully, she was returned to Winnipeg in time to see her little girls. The family deeply appreciates the kindness, compassion and professionalism of the staff of B5 at St. Boniface hospital, who made Allisons last 24 hours as comfortable as possible. Allison was, above all else, a mom. She loved, encouraged, comforted, supported and played with her daughters with a passion that few can match. They are her wonderful legacy. Gentle spirit, loving heart, brave soul - all of us who were touched by her are grateful for the opportunity to have been warmed by her all-too-brief flame. A service will be held on Tuesday, August 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave. (entrance on Aubrey Street). The family requests that in lieu of flowers you make a donation to CancerCare and wear the pink ribbon with love and pride. They also wish to thank the many, many wonderful friends who brightened Allisons life and are doing everything possible to support Paul and the girls during this difficult time.
