NORMA PLAYLE (nee DAWSON) Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, it is with deep sadness we announce the death of Norma on Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at the Grace General Hospital at the age of 71 years. Norma was born and raised in Saskatoon and was a Winnipeg resident for the past 31 years. She is survived by her loving husband Harry of 40 years of marriage; son Kevin and wife Chantelle; sisters, Margaret, Betty, Marion (Rod) brothers, Bill (Ev), Peter (Vivian), Ernest (Barbara) and Stuart; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Norma will also be sadly missed by her family and friends in Winnipeg and Saskatoon; as well as her in-laws, Olive, Hilda (Eric), Barbara and their families in England. In compliance with Normas wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A private interment will take place at a later date. Our heartfelt thanks to the Staff at 4 South and 4 West at Grace Hospital and Dr. Inglis for their kindness and caring, as well as to our longtime family physician, Dr. C. Fletcher who was always kind and generous in taking care of our needs.
