OTTO PLONKE Peacefully on Wednesday, September 3, 2003, with his family at his side, Otto passed away at St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care at the age of 79. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff for all their compassion and kindness. Otto is survived by his loving wife Lucy; sister Eda; sisters-in-law, Hedwig and Selma; brother-in-law Arthur (Gail) nephews, nieces and their families. He was predeceased by his sister Agnes; brothers-in-law, Oskar and Emil. Otto was a long time member of the McDermot Avenue Baptist Church. He was an avid carpenter who built their cottage at Red Rock Lake where they spent much of their time. Otto will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 8 at 11:00 a.m. at McDermot Avenue Baptist Church, 821 McDermot Ave. If you so desire donations may be made to Lake Nutimik Baptist Camp, Box 68, Seven Sisters, MB R0E 1Y0.
