RANDY CHODAK It is with great sadness we announce the passing away of Randy Chodak on September 16, 2003 at the young age of 48. What we remember most of Randy was his love and devotion, sense of humour and tenacious hold on life. Randy and his father Michael both shared a common interest in being creative when it came to carpentry. During his lifetime Randy attended the University of Manitoba and graduated with a Master Degree in Fine Arts and with that in his hand he relocated to the Sunshine Coast to pursue a career in the Television and the Film Industry. Climbing the ladder to the height of Production Designer. Randy was a devoted husband to his wife Marilyn and son Jazz. They had great many pleasures in the trips they took and the activities they had shared. Randy will be terribly missed by his family, friends and colleagues of the Film and Television Community. Randy is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Marilyn Magas; his wonderful son Jazz at the age of 9; his parents, Michael and Yvette; sister Beverley and husband Myles Fitzhenry; their children, Lisa and Les; sister-in-law Darlene Magas and husband Jim McCarthy; their children, Ryan, Meaghan and Bo; brother-in-law Jerry and wife Marion; their children, Adam and Chad. A memorial service was held at Chaster House in Gibsons, BC on Friday, September 26 at 3:00 p.m. In the lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Randys son education trust fund would be greatly appreciated and can be made at any CIBC Branch, Account# 07080/75-32334.
