JULIA REUBEN (nee BRENNER) 1921 - 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Julia Reuben at Riverview Health Centre on Tuesday, September 23, 2003. She is survived by her beloved husband Hyman and daughter Marion who were at her side when she died peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Also left to cherish her memory is her younger brother Bernard in England, son-in-law Randy, sister-in-law Jean, grandchildren, Deborah, Eleanor (Keith) and David, great-granddaughter Sabrina and numerous nieces and nephews in various parts of the world. She was predeceased by her parents, David and Rachel, her sister Diana and brother Abe. Julia was born in Leeds, England and immigrated to Winnipeg with her husband and daughter in 1967. She was an Assistant Director of the Age and Opportunity Centre for several years until her retirement. She loved to travel and did so frequently. Unfortunately ill health prevented her from doing so during the last three years of her life. More than anything else, Julia loved her family. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed. Interment has taken place at Rosh Pina Memorial Park on Wednesday, September 24. The family extends its gratitude to the staff of Riverview Health Centre, 3 East for their exemplary care and compassion.
