BETTY ANN FAVELL (nee CUMMINS) Suddenly on September 29, 2003 Betty Ann Favell (nee Cummings), age of 68, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Betty Ann was predeceased by her husband Bill; son Donald James; mother Evelyn Keith (Cummins) father Chester Cummins; and eight brothers. Betty is survived by her five children, Debbie Anne, Dean, Brian, Joan, John; brother Emerson; sisters, Charlotte and Susan; she also leaves 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty Ann was born in Moncton, NB, later moved west and resided in Shilo, MB where she met her husband, and moved to Winnipeg where she raised her children. Betty Ann worked for 18 years at the Continental Motor Hotel and worked for the last 17 years at the Seven Oaks School Division. Mom was fun loving and loved to play Keno. Moms greatest love in life was her children. She was a friend to all who knew her. The family would like to acknowledge Rhonda Cleary for her special friendship and companionship to our mom. Pallbearers are Betty Anns son-in-laws, James Rockola, Frank Fileccia, Mike Harrisko; grandsons, David Orvis, Matthew Rockola, James Rockola Jr.; honorary pallbearers are her nephews, James McNabb, Howard McNabb, Dennis McNabb, Jamie McNabb, Gary La Porte and Robert La Porte. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 2 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with a funeral service on Friday, October 3 at 1:00 p.m. also at the Chapel with Pastor Brent Cooper officiating.
