WINIFRED (WIN) OWENS-NACCI (nee BERRY) Peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2003 after a short battle with cancer, Win passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 66. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her mother Cissy Berry, sister Hazel (Ron) Daltry and family and leaves behind her four sons, Victor, Alan, Barry and Michael; and daughter Tracy and their husband and wives and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchild, extended family and friends in England, the United States and Canada. Win was born in England in 1936 and came to Canada in 1952 where she settled in Sioux Lookout, ON before moving to Winnipeg. Our family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and volunteers at the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their loving care and support. Also the home care workers while at home. In lieu of flowers, we would ask that donations be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital or CancerCare Manitoba. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 15 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, 300 Hugo St. N., Winnipeg. Mother holds our hand for awhile, But our heart for always.
