MARGARET MASON FENTON (BETTS) (nee REID) Peacefully, on Sunday, October 19, 2003, after a brief illness, Margaret passed away at the age of 79 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Donald G. Betts in 1971; her sister Isabella and her brother Stanley. Margaret is survived by her son Garnett Betts (Lorraine) and daughter Catherine Desrocher (Van) and her grandchildren, Lana (David), Lindsay, Ben and Carly and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her husband of 26 years, Gordon Blair Fenton and his daughter Leslie Stoddart (John) and sons, Richard (Candace), Robert (Jennifer), Mitchell (Karen), Jonathan (Laura) and 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Ever active with family and friends, Margaret loved her golf, bridge and church groups. We will all remember and miss Margarets kind and loving nature. Special thanks to the staff at GH4, Health Sciences Centre, and Dr. H. Demsas and staff at Selkirk General Hospital. If desired, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. A celebration of Margarets life will be held at Fort Garry United Church on Point Road on Friday, October 24, 1:30 p.m., with burial and reception to follow at Garry Memorial, 1291 McGillivray Blvd.
