SR ANNA LECLERC (SR ADRIENNE ST-JEAN) August 17, 1908 - November 5, 2003 Sr Annas last wish was granted on November 5, 2003, when the Lord called her to her eternal reward, at the age of 95. Of those, 74 years were lived in the service of Gods vineyard. During the weeks preceding her death. Sister endured patiently the increasing pain caused by lung cancer and she prayed to be reunited soon with her parents, Levi Leclerc and Therese Caze, her brother Louis and her nine sisters. Left to celebrate her life are her brother Adrien and his wife Eva Morin, as well as many nephews and nieces who lovingly referred to her as "ma tante Nana". Her religious family, Les Filles de la Croix, will forever remember her "joie de vivre" and the determination and tenacity she showed in everything that she undertook. Sr Anna joined La Congregation des Filles de la Croix at their Mother House in La Puye France, on August 26, 1927, for two years of formation. On August 26, 1929, she pronounced the vows of consecrated life, at La Puye, France. On August 26, 2003, Sister Anna celebrated 74 years of religious life. Sister loved life and she always served with joy and with her whole heart and soul. She left unforgettable memories and formed lasting friendships. She served in a variety of ways: teaching, in charge of girls residing as borders in our convents, nursing, pastoral work in hospitals and nursing homes; and in various locations: in France, in Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Quebec, as well as in Brazil. A few years before her retirement, she led many Bible Study groups with whom she shared her vibrant faith and love for the Word of God. Sr Anna spent the last fourteen months of her life at Foyer Valade, where she shared her "joie de vivre" with those around her, singing with them and always bringing her winning smile and her exuberance to the different activities she shared with them. We, Les Filles de la Croix, would like to express our gratitude to the staff of our Provincial House and of Foyer Valade, for the loving care they gave to our Sister. Their dedication has been very special and greatly appreciated. Prayers for Sr Anna Leclerc will be shared at 66 Moore Ave., on Friday, November 7 at 7:30 p.m. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at the same address, on Saturday, November 8 at 1:30 p.m. (Une notice necrologique sera publiee en francais, dans La Liberte) LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220
