Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA ANNE GALLACHER Peacefully on Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at the Portage District General Hospital, Patricia Anne Gallacher of Oakville, MB, beloved wife of Robert Gallacher passed away at the age of 64 years. Funeral service will be held at the Knox United Church, Oakville, MB on Saturday, December 20 at 1:00 p.m. with Judy Limpright officiating. A family interment will follow in the Oakville Cemetery. Pat was born on July 29, 1939, daughter of James and Blondina Jarvis at Winnipeg, MB. She was raised and received her education in the Oakville district. Pat attended the University of Manitoba for one year then took her R.N. at the Misericordia Hospital. In 1961 she married Robert Gallacher and they resided in Oakville. Pat began working as an R.N. at the Portage District General Hospital until 1964 when she quit working to raise her family and due to her illness was not able to return to work. Pat was an avid reader and loved singing, dancing, and playing the piano. She taught Sunday School for ten years and was also a member of the U.C.W. Predeceased by her parents, she leaves to mourn her passing her husband Robert of Oakville; her daughters, Jay-Ann (Bruce) Lloyd of Winnipeg and grandchildren, Kieran and Camryn, Robyn (Larry) Poschenrieder of Portage and grandchildren, Harlie and Lacey; one sister Beverley Jarvis of Victoria, BC and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Should friends so desire memorial donations may be made in Pats name to the MS Society of Canada, South Central Chapter, 302 Saskatchewan Ave. E., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8 or the Knox United Church, Oakville, MB R0H 0Y0.
