LOUIS L. LANDA May 6, 1924 - December 21, 2003 Peacefully on Sunday, December 21, 2003 at Riverview Health Centre, Lou passed away at the age of 79. He was predeceased by his wife Jan. He is survived by his children, Heidi and Jeff; son-in-law Terry; daughter-in-law Sandie; and two grandsons, Tyler Wong and Chase Landa; sisters, Naomi Roy and Vera Shuster; as well as nieces and nephews. Dad worked for over 35 years with the Lakeview group of companies. His passion was work and he was never quite ready to give up the job he loved. The people at Lakeview were like a second family to Dad, and his family is thankful for all the support they have provided, particularly these last few years. Dads pride and joy has been his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, his boat on Lake of the Woods, and hobbies, including fishing and reading. The family would like to thank the staff of Riverview Health Centre - CD4 for taking such good care of our Dad. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riverview Health Centre or a charity of ones choice. A service of remembrance will be held at Temple Shalom, 1077 Grant Ave. at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23 with Rabbi Michael Levenson.
