Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA ANTONIA MAIO (MACCHIA) April 26, 1908 - December 25, 2003 On Christmas Day, the 25th of December, the Lord called Maria Antonia home. She was reunited with her spouse Gennaro who predeceased her in 1960. Also her son Pasquale, who passed away in 1968 will await her arrival. Left to cherish her memory in Winnipeg, are sons, Saverio (Carmela), Rocco (Pina) and Salvatore (Susan). In Filiano, Italy, she leaves to mourn daughter Carmela, predeceased by husband Antonio Bucchichio; son Giuseppe (Maria) and daughter-in-law Gerardina Castellano. Maria Antonio was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Maria Antonia was left to raise her family with great dignity and strength. She made sure her sons, daughter, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were always showered with love. The celebration of her life will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 30, 8:00 p.m., at the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave., celebrant Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano. Mamma and Nonna, e la tua vita spesa tutta per la famiglia che amasti intensamente e per la quale compisti i sacrifici piu grandi. Rimani nei nostri cuori. Riposa in Pace.
