RALPH FELLOWS It is with deep sorrow that we wish to announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather on January 10, 2004 in Winchester, England at the age of 86. Ralph was predeceased by his first wife Muriel in 1985 and his daughter Jill Logan in 1996. Ralph will be sadly missed by his loving wife Jessie; his son Tim and wife Laurette and their children, Shaena Koester (Lars) and Chad Macey (Tara) his grandsons, Bill and Patrick Logan; and son-in-law Tom Logan and wife Janet; stepson Guy Short and wife Mandy and their children, Richard and Phillipa; and stepdaughter Elizabeth Bain and her husband Lawrence and their children, Charlotte, Robert and Jessica. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends in Canada and England. Ralph was born in Liverpool, England on March 31, 1917. He attained his teaching degree at Chester College and immediately enlisted in the RAF serving during the Second World War as a navigator where he met his life long friends, Jim Dow and Cam Judd. After returning from the war in 1944 he married Muriel Cann whom he had met while growing up in Bude, Cornwall. His son Tim was born in 1946 followed by his daughter Jill in 1947. Ralph and his family came to Winnipeg to start a new life in 1953. After a year of teaching school, Ralph started in sales with Crain Business Forms. He then embarked on a new career in warehousing with Midwest Storage and subsequently became a partner in the company. Upon his retirement, Ralph and Muriel divided their time between Canada and England. After Muriels death in 1985, Ralph rekindled a friendship with Jessie Short which turned into love and marriage in 1987. At this point in time, Ralph returned to England permanently settling in the village or hursley in Hampshire. Ralph had a life long love of golf spending many wonderful hours with his friends both in England and in Canada where he was a long time member at Niakwa Country Club. After Jessies retirement from teaching, they spent many happy hours on the links together. We will miss Ralph, and mourn his loss but will celebrate his life and the joy that he brought into all of ours. A memorial service will be held in England.
