PROCTOR AFC, CD, RCAF (Retired) Proctor, Albert "Bert" A., AFC, CD, RCAF (Retired), passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 28, 2004 in his 86th year with his family by his side. Survived by his beloved wife Lorraine and his three children, Rick and his wife Marion, Carolyn Knowles and her husband Ralf Scholtes and Susan and her husband Steve Asmussen. Predeceased by his son Grant. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Stephen and Tricia and her husband Danny and great-granddaughter Hailey. Fondly remembered by his cousins, Irene and Jack, and Constance and Stan and all the Boughton families. Bert was born in Winnipeg and proudly served his country as an instructor in the Commonwealth Air Training Plan. After the war he continued serving, ending his 25 year RCAF career as a S/L. Bert then devoted 10 years to teaching school in Scarborough. Bert was a longtime member of St. Johns United Church in Agincourt and will be missed by a wide circle of friends. A memorial service will be held at St. Johns United Church, 2 Nobert Rd., Agincourt, ON M1T 1C1, on Monday, February 2 at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow. If desired, memorial donations may be made in Berts memory to St. Johns United Church or the charity of your choice.
