Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEGON KARL LOTTMANN Born February 16, 1927 in Wilhelmshaven, Germany. Died suddenly at his residence February 1, 2004 at age 76. He was predeceased by his wife Wilma in 1989. Egon is survived by his daughter Janet and her husband Morley; two grandsons, Robert and Nicholas. He is also survived by his special friend Carol-Ann and many friends and colleagues. Egon and Wilma immigrated to Canada in 1954. In 1963 he and his family immigrated to the United States and lived in California. In 1972 they immigrated back to Canada and settled in Winnipeg where his dreams of owning his own auto repair shop was realized with K & K Motors. After the death of his wife he sold his shop and, following a brief term at Golf Auto, he found his home with Perimeter Airlines. He was often heard saying I dont come to work, I come to be with the boys! Egon was active until the very end, enjoying his grandsons, his work, soccer, home, garden, books and his friends. Cremation has taken place. A Service of Memory will be held on Saturday, February 7, at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. The family would like to sincerely thank Carol-Ann for being with their father when he passed away and would appreciate it if you could contact us by calling Cropo Chapel.
