Dad was born and raised in Marchand, but his home was mainly Ste. Anne. Dads happiest days were when he could work. If he could work, he could provide for his family. In 1997, Dad had his stroke and as well newly diagnosed type I diabetic, in 1999 had his first heart attack and suffered on a daily basis with arthritis. Even with all his struggles, he managed to help his family the best that he could. On February 13, Dad suffered a massive heart attack and though he received the best possible care in Ste. Anne Hospital, HSC MICU/SICU, his damaged heart could no longer work. Our family will be forever grateful to all the people who cared for our dad. A special thanks to Dr. Roy, Dr. Chatel, staff at Ste.
