IRENE STEVENS Irene Stevens (Miller), born in Virden, MB on October 2, 1916, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at the Maples Personal Care Home in Winnipeg, Irene was predeceased by her eldest daughter Lorraine Westover (Beckwith). She is survived by Rodney, her husband of 69 years; her daughter Patricia (Jack) Brown of Winnipeg; her brothers, Reginald (Josephine) Miller of Petersfield and Michael (Stella) Miller of Matlock. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Sheldon Beckwith, Darlene Brown, Robert Brown, Melville Brown and Douglas Brown; as well as 14 great-grandchildren and her nephew Wayne Miller. In accordance with Irenes wishes no service will be held. Irene requested, that in lieu of flowers as an expression of sympathy, friends place a donation with a charity of their choice if they so desire. The members of Irenes family wish to express their gratitude to the staff of the Maples Personal Care Home for the kindness and care provided to Irene.
