GENINA NADEAU Genina Nadeau died peacefully at Concordia Hospital, on May 25, 2004, at the age of 93 years. She was predeceased by her husband Napoleon (Nap) her son Dave and her sisters, Florence, Francis, Helen and Stella and her brother Tony. She leaves to remember her, daughter Evelyn; son Phil; daughters-in-law, Terry Nadeau and Leone Nadeau and sisters, Mary (Al) Peterson and Rose Arger; grandchildren, Gale (Peter) Bergen, Glen Buchanan, Don (Joanne Klein) Buchanan, Lorraine Nadeau, Diane (Matt) Fields, Rick (Lisa) Nadeau, Brian (Clare) Nadeau, Lora (Barry) Rambold, Arliss (Carlo) Stuglin and great-grandchildren, Lorraine and Lindsay Bergen, Carson Nadeau, Tristan and Quinn Fields, Lindsay Nadeau, Michael, Denise and Mark Rambold, and Ava and Abbey Stuglin. Genina was born in Brandon, MB on January 5, 1911. On May 24, 1929 she moved to Winnipeg, where she married, and raised her family. In 1965, she moved to San Jose, California with her son Dave and his family. She enjoyed many years there, working for Father Hoffman. In 1987, she moved back to Winnipeg, to be with her family. Genina will be remembered for her gentle nature and her constant caring for family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Kildonan Personal Care Home as well as the staff on 3East at Concordia Hospital for all their special care. In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Manitoba, 2109 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3J 0L3. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 28 at 10:00 a.m., at Green Acres Funeral Chapel, with visitation one-half hour prior to service. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
