Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySELMA PATTERSON (nee PETERSON) Selma passed away peacefully at Central Park Lodge on Saturday, May 29, 2004 at 101 years of age. Selma was born May 26, 1903 in MacGregor, MB. She had one sister Ethel; and two brothers, Jack and Ben, all of whom predeceased her. Until she married she was a telephone operator in MacGregor. In 1940 she married Orland Patterson of MacGregor. Orland was a CPR station agent and over the years they lived in many towns in Manitoba. The last two were Miniota and Hamiota where they had many good friends. In 1969 they retired in Winnipeg and Orland died later that year. Selma was one of the first residents to move into Lions Place on Portage Avenue, where she was extremely involved in all their activities. She lived there until poor health hospitalized her, and she spent her remaining years in Central Park Lodge. Her remains will be interred at a future date in the family plot in MacGregor.
